A birthday letter

A birthday letter instead of just a card

Another year, and another card with the same printed line inside. This birthday you can give them something no one else will: words of your own, sealed today, that open on the exact day you choose — their next birthday, or one far further ahead. With your voice, a photo from these days, and their song playing as they open it. Not just another card: a letter they'll want to keep.

How it works

  1. You write it todayChoose the envelope, the wax seal, the paper and a commemorative stamp with the year. You can record your voice, add a photo from these days, and their song — from the exact second.
  2. It stays sealed until the day you chooseTheir next birthday, or one far further ahead: up to 25 years. You set the date and the letter waits, closed, until that morning.
  3. It arrives that day, at their hourBy email, with a private link, at their city's local time. They open it, their song plays, and there you are. That day they can download it in full, and that copy is theirs forever.

What it can hold

What to write

You don't need to be a writer. These questions open the door:

Fair questions

The birthday is soon — will it arrive in time?
Yes. You choose the exact day and hour: if the birthday is tomorrow, you schedule it for first thing tomorrow. It arrives on time, at their city's local time.
Can it open on a birthday years from now?
Yes. The opening date can be up to 25 years ahead — say, for the morning they turn 30, or 50. Until then it stays sealed.
Will they get to keep it?
Yes. The day it opens, the letter downloads in full: the PDF, your voice, the video and the photos. That copy is theirs, forever. Before that date it can't be opened or downloaded — that's the whole point.
How much does it cost?
From $5.99, once. No subscription: it's paid for the day it's written and never costs anything again.
