Privacy notice and authorisation for the processing of data

In compliance with Colombia’s Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013, we set out how we process your personal data and request your authorisation. This notice complements the privacy policy, which develops the detail and the rights that apply outside Colombia as well.

2Purposes of the processing

We process your personal data solely to:

Create, compose and deliver the letter you commission.
Send the letter and its notices to the person who receives it, by email.
Send you your copy, your download link and the warnings before the safekeeping ends.
Manage the payment through the merchant of record and meet accounting and tax obligations.
Handle your requests, complaints and the exercise of your rights.

3Data we process

The buyer’s email; the recipient’s email and phone; the content you include in the letter (text, photo, video and audio); and technical visit data that does not identify you. We do not request sensitive data; if you decide to include it in your letter, you authorise its processing for the sole purpose of carrying out your instruction.

4Your rights as data subject

To know, update and rectify your data; to request proof of this authorisation; to be informed of the use given to your data; to file complaints with the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce; to revoke the authorisation and request the deletion of your data where there is no legal duty to keep it. 5Authorisation

What you accept by using the service

By creating a letter and providing the data, you give Hugo Echeverri Jaramillo your prior, express and informed authorisation to process your personal data in accordance with the purposes of this notice and the privacy policy. This authorisation is voluntary and you may revoke it at any time, unless there is a legal or contractual duty to keep the data.

6Term

Your data is kept for as long as the relationship lasts and for the applicable legal periods; the letter content, for the 5 years of safekeeping.

These texts protect your relationship with the people who buy from you and meet the frameworks applicable on the date of their last revision. They are not a substitute for review by a qualified lawyer, which is advisable before operating at high volume or in a country with its own requirements.

These terms apply exactly as you read them. We publish them in eight languages and all of them are equally binding: the one that applies to you is the one in your language.
